Carol DeStefano,
CD (DONA) |
|
|
Carol is a
DONA
certified
doula
providing
both labor
support and
post partum
care. Carol
gently
guides women
and their
partners
through the
birth
process and
into the
world of
parenting.
She believes
that giving
birth is a
rite of
passage, a
sacred
moment in
every
woman's
life. Birth
doulas
recognize
this and
work to
create a
safe and
comfortable
place for a
woman's
birth story
to unfold.
Partners are
honored as a
vital part
of the birth
process and
are never
replaced by
a doula's
support.
Carol has
been trained
to teach
parents how
to soothe
their babies
using Dr.
Harvey
Karp's
Happiest
Baby on the
Block
methods. She
is available
for in home
consultations
days and
evenings. As
a mother of
two, Carol
brings a
real life
perspective
and a
healthy
sense of
humor to her
practice.
Carol has
been working
as a doula
since 2003.
